3 Keys to changing your life! Key 3…Being

My Intuitively Unique Coaching Method


Hello friend! Welcome back!

If you’ve been following along with my previous posts, you know that I have been speaking about what I do as a Transformational Coach.

My aim is to give you a snapshot of the 3 Keys to my method so you can understand the how, what and why I do in my sessions.

I created my method out of a need to serve my clients: powerful, professional women who need that extra nudge to become the best version of themselves.

These are ladies who are struggling with low self-esteem, stress, troubling emotions and an overall lack of confidence.

Many of them came to me with these common concerns and obstacles; which inspired me to share it here with you all.


The 3 Key areas of their lives that are impacted or affecting their true self-worth, happiness, health and overall well-being are:


Behaviors – which are things like your diet, exercise and sleep

Beliefs – which are things like your mindset and self-talk

Being – which is who you identify yourself to be on a deep and even subconscious level

This blog gives you some highlights from Key 3: Being

Being refers to the essence of who you are. It’s how you are inside and how you project that outside.

It’s the energy and vibe you show up with in the world.

You know this is an area you need to work on if you’re:

  • Feeling depressed or anxious or lethargic—not feeling alive or energized
  • Stuck in the past or can’t break free from past situations
  • You play the comparison game or try to overachieve or are a perfectionist


I’ll give you an example of a woman I was working within this area


Melissa was completely distracted by trying to help everyone else all day. As she would say, she’s a people-pleaser.

She would lose track of her schedule, coffee up, and put everybody else’s needs first.

It became the norm for her to be a doormat for others and outsourced herself to people who were sucking her energy.

Needless to say, she was depleted of energy, her stomach bothered and her energy levels were really low.

As you can imagine, her stress levels were 10/10 on most days.

Melissa was an example of how you can completely lose track of your own being if you let yourself get consumed by others.

I supported her through a discovery process to figure out who she really was and wanted to BE.  When she finally felt that she deserved to care for herself, her entire life changed for the better. She ended up quitting the job that she hated and started her own business.


Do you honor your YES and your NO?


One of the simplest tools that she loved using was one that I call “Honoring Your YES and Your NO”.

Even though this tool may be simple; it could be a challenge at first. You see, if you’ve been people-pleasing or putting yourself last, it will feel uncomfortable to NOT do that.

Trust me,  if you give it a month to create this new habit, your life will change completely and forever!

Before every next step, choice or action that you are about to take:

  1. Ask yourself: Do you feel GOOD? Or not.
  2. If you are depleted, look at what you need to say yes or no to in order to honor yourself and your energy.


The Key here is to tap into your very intuitive wisdom.

This is the part of you that “knows” deep inside what brings you JOY, PEACE, LOVE, HAPPINESS. So, this would be your YES!!

Any feelings of dread, anxiety, fear, sadness, guilt or stress will be your NO.

Gifting yourself the moments to PAUSE and tap into this knowing sense will help you build your self-esteem, confidence and trust…in YOURSELF!

BEING is a more abstract concept to wrap our heads around and it is really at the core of how we show up in the world.

It includes the beliefs that guide your mental chatter, and your habits and behaviors.

I invite you to use this simple tool in your life and it will transform how you think, feel, and speak about yourself as you navigate your journey on this earth.


When you do the work to discover and honor who you truly are, you become unstoppable.
